the killer is that, judging by steve baker and the dup’s comments, bodge has done exactly what tm ex-pm did: negotiate the deal without them seeing it and then will deliver the agreed text

that just seems perverse given he must be largely dependent on at least most of their combined support, and it was obviously (one of) her strategic error(s)

they’ve made it pretty clear that at almost any cost (other than agreeing a deal that doesn’t meet their rules) they do not want to be to blame for a crash out brexit, which makes it v difficult for them not to agree an extension

I look forward to Parliament pissing from a great height on Johnson and whatever polished turd he offers up as his “deal” before voting to hold a second referendum.
