Rafa Nadal missed 9 consecutive slams due to an "injury"mmmmm

Then came back pretty much the same as before his secret ban, I mean injury lol

Stardust, you know about the state sponsored doping program in Spain in which dozens of high profile sports people including a very famous Tennis player from spain were implicated in?

Well by way of summary, all these spaniard sports peoples results, were lost and burned , along with servers, and back up servers. There was overwhelming evidence that Rafa was part of the clique, and indeed he and his Dr, were seen leaving a laborotary which was centre of the investigation.

There have been dozens of investigations by regulators, journalists, and Deloitte I think it was in to the scandal. Journalists have publicly named Rafa as a serial doper, and asked him to sue him if he should so wish. He didn't , and then all of a sudden he develops an injury. Rumours abound that his break was enforced by the ITF, you can imagine the degree to which the regulator and the sport would be for ever tarnished if Rafa was "found" to be a serial serious doper.

See a post by Kyrigous in which he slyly refers to rafa as " having the needle with him and that rafa can smell blood"

You do realise that:

a) his entire drug testing history has been made public by Russians hackers; and

b) he successfully sued the former French minister for sport for making similar allegations.

His view is that if it’s just twotty conspiracy theorists and journos he doesn’t care less but when a senior politician says something, he sues.

Rafa sought consent from the regulatory bodies to use a substance which under normal circs is banned. The substance is an anti-inflammatory. And Rafa wanted the results to be published.

Something Kyri posts on IG is most definitely not to be taken as gospel. Rafa also won a defamation case for damages.

I have always found it bizarre that cycling was the only dope-heavy sport and nothing much elsewhere. Even if these accusations are true, I reckon there's players who are very much hiding in plain sight etc.

Teclis, as to B you are correct, however you fail to mention the numerous other organisations who have called him and his team out in the clearest way, and asked him , indeed baited him to sue if they are wrong.

On the balance of probabilities can anyone explain away why both him and his team on a t least two occasions were seen entering a facility found to be culpable in this drug story, empty handed and leaving with a package in a sealed brown jiffy bag. What was in said Jiffy bag, his team nor him won't say?

And then the burning of tests/results, and the loss of data from the spanish reguator which was backed up at least twice. Is there an innocent explanation to all this, if so why wont he air it?

I don’t know, I’m not his mum.  But if we are going to talk balance of probabilities.... for this to work there would need to be a global conspiracy across several different agencies. Wtf would they protect one bloke from Mallorca exactly?

Tes, once again you have  spectacularly failed to grasp the theme/conversation, and the circumstances of which the discussion has been framed here on this thread and beyond.

You’re also missing out the fact that his medical records, clearly demonstrating a knee injury, have been made public.  And he had 2 TUEs during that time for anti inflammatory injections.  And then later had to pull out of the ATP championship due to a recurrence of the injury.

Silly conspiracy theories aside, watertight evidence bruv, you should be an investigative journalist.  For the Daily Star.

This conspiracy theory is understandable given what we have seen of doping in other sports and even Federer has said it would be naive to think that tennis is 100% clean.

However you are talking about one of the most tested individuals on the planet.  It just doesn’t bear up to the facts.  In 2012 he received 9 (nine!) random out of competition tests including both blood and urine.  He has a biological passport which has been used to build up his blood profile so even something super short term would leave a trace.

It is just a conspiracy theory with no legs that falls over the moment you apply a bit of even vaguely assiduous examination to.

I don't see why people are so sure that sports stars are clean. Given the amount of cash at stake, the edge that doping gives and how easy it is to beat testing I'm pretty sure they're all at it. Bolt, Nadal, Serena Williams, top football teams etc etc

what shanter said, they are still miles ahead of the testers, not s much athletics though which has invested milliions YOY and faces the issue upfront.

And now I turn to Djovic....

The point is that testing is a reactive discipline and is always one step behind. The cheaters are ahead, the testers eventually discover what they've been doing but by that point the cheaters have found a more advanced method. It's a constant cycle.

I’m seriously not going to argue with you further.  It seems to be some kind of religious observance for you.  I’m not even a Nadal fanboy, i gush over Federer and Sharapova, but this silly conspiracy theory is just that.
