Purple Bricks

Anyone else tried buying a property where they are the selling agent?  It's a total faff arranging a viewing and would be so much easier if I could speak to a human rather than arranging it all via their portal.

Keep up Wang.  I'm building a house which is nearly finished.  The parents are selling up and looking for something in London and I'm looking on their behalf as I'm on the ground so to speak.  Trying to organise for the aged ones to see the short list.

It's a long story but honestly who in this day and age has a system where you get an e-mail to say you've got a new message but then have to log into their online portal to be able to read the message.

I can understand banks and HMRC as they deal with sensitive personal information.  "Can you do Tuesday instead of Monday?" is hardly a massively confidential message and if we go ahead I'll just ask the sellers for their numbers.
