Purple Bricks

Anyone else tried buying a property where they are the selling agent?  It's a total faff arranging a viewing and would be so much easier if I could speak to a human rather than arranging it all via their portal.

easier if I could speak to a human

Except you wouldn't be talking to a human, you'd be talking to a house chinny.

didnt your mum only buy you a house Bout 2 years ago?  she'll have more (albeit more tangible) properties than tecco doesnt if you keep this rate up

Keep up Wang.  I'm building a house which is nearly finished.  The parents are selling up and looking for something in London and I'm looking on their behalf as I'm on the ground so to speak.  Trying to organise for the aged ones to see the short list.

I thought you were building a house so you and your parents could all live together like the Waltons?

I thought you were building a house so you and your parents could all live together like the Wests.

Nah, he’s going for the Norman Bates boomerang lifestyle choice...

It's a long story but honestly who in this day and age has a system where you get an e-mail to say you've got a new message but then have to log into their online portal to be able to read the message.

I can understand banks and HMRC as they deal with sensitive personal information.  "Can you do Tuesday instead of Monday?" is hardly a massively confidential message and if we go ahead I'll just ask the sellers for their numbers.

Couldn’t your parents just have moved into your old flat in Balham?

Its for when folks like SS are  e-mailing the agents about the wall-mounted BDSM equipment and the strength of the basement joists...

Had to sell my place for various reasons and it was one bedroom and they're after two.  Looking at a place straight across the road though.
