Predictions for today?

Gove to resign?

Vote of no confidence in TMPM to be triggered?

Jeremy Corbyn to act all statesmanlike and take control of the situation?

The backlash against the Tory rebels has begun.

Fascinating to see the Dail Mail backing May's deal. Just shows what a change of editor does, Dacre must be absolutely fuming.

From the graun report on May’s radio interview:

Q: It has been reported, from sources close the the DUP leader Arlene Foster, that they will withdraw support from the government unless there is a new leader.

May says she is aware of lots of reports.

Q: So you have still got their support?

Yes, says May.

Q: So will they back the deal?

May says she hopes to persuade all MPs to back the deal.

I think today is going to be quiet and then Monday is the make or brake with whatever cabals are incubating trying to grab support over the weekend

Rees Mogg looks a bit powerless this morning though

JRM as Tory leader might be enough to persuade me to emigrate without a job to go to.

Apparently the 1922 Committee only has 17 letters so still a long way to go.  Surprised JRM hadn't sent his in months ago from what he's been saying.

The Indy has a list of 18 who have publicly announced they have sent in letters and I would have thought that was more likely to be under than over the actual total.

Sky reporting that the whips are being called in as part of prep for it.

The Mail backing the deal is fairly consistent with their historic stance. The Mail on Sunday even backed Remain and the Mail itself wasn't as rabid in its editorials as you might have expected (except for that enemies for the people nonsense). It's the Express that's the proper nutjob paper on Brexit.

UKIP are a busted flush.

Farage is the only one in the party who can string a sentence together. All that needs to happen in order for him to be discredited further is for people to keep asking him why his children now have German passports.
