Do it midweek at the start of the season, before the schools break up.  The slopes will be empty.  Arrange for some training talk that no-one actually attends.  Bill the firm for it out of the L&D budget.

I have always found Andorra is great in terms of flying in, hiring a car and driving to the slopes. Plus its more than big enough for that length of trip. Nightlife wise I cant say I really went out much the last few times I have been there but I know there is a lot in Pas de La Casa - although I spent the time in El Tarter

Pas de la Casa is fine if you're looking for Magaluf style nightlife.

Or else some of the less touristy places can be good. Baquiera Beret is a hidden gem in the pyrenese

Chav de la Casa.  Been twice. Enough for one lifetime.  Actual skiing in Andorra is not at all bad though.    

There are dozens of resorts withing 2 hours or so of Geneva airport so I'd look around there. 

There are also some good little Swiss resorts you can get to by train from Geneva and I've done that with work before.

France Morzine/Avoriaz easy access from Geneva airport and great skiing.

Italy Aosta valley is pretty easy access from Turin and Cervinia is a good ski area linked with Zermatt in Switzerland.

Austria Insbruck has a load of options with easy transfer. Bit more ballache, but could actually stay in the city and travel up to the mountain every day.

Thanks for the suggestions - budget roughly a grand each, to include B&B, flights, transfers and lift passes.

I'm assuming another grand a head for booze. 

There was a RoF ski trip in days long gone by. Ask Clubman, he's the only survivor from that I think.
