Now I know we are a bunch of old cynics on here and the government have fooked many things royally but creating the largest critical care facility in the world in 9 days flat is about the only thing this country has done I am proud of in a long time

Er, it’s an empty building. How long does it take to wheel in a bunch of beds and kit? The Chinese did it in about the same time including building the fkn building. And without the benefit of 4 months advance warning.

Have you seen the pics Thuggy - each bed space is partitioned and looks like a reasonable approximation of a real hospital - it looks very different from emergency places I have seen elsewhere. But still, cynicism obviously predicted!
