Latest Ireland election poll

Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin on 24% each.

Fine Gael on 20%.

Who knows how that is likely to convert to seats!

Latest poll

SF.       25%
FF.        23%
FG.        20%
Green.     8%

FF likeliest to be largest party. If SF get 25 or more seats (out of 160), putting together a coalition without them or FG is going to involve a load of minor parties and eccentric independents

The poor pundits are really struggling to find anything (interesting) to say.

One notable point from the exit poll is that out of a dozen issues only 1% of respondents chose Brexit as the most important. Notable because Fine Gael, the party in Government, choose as their election slogan ‘the best team for Brexit’, neatly demonstrating how they are utterly out of touch.

‘neatly demonstrating how they are utterly out of touch.’

remind me when Ireland is due to leave the EU again? Pretty sure you said it would be shortly after the 2016 referendum
