Makes my skin look shimmery but then I am practically translucent 

have a look at after sun creams as they often have a bit of shimmer 

this makes me feel very old.  how long do the effects of facials last? it's getting on for a decade since the last one.

I have the shimmer version of the Nuxe and it's lovely but for day to day / to become otterlike in the first place, Clarins body lotion with shea butter (if it's payday) or Nivea in shower moisturiser which is probably hideously toxic and made of petrochemicals but I bought it by mistake thinking it was shower gel and goodness me if it doesn't make your skin soft and smooth
