Killers at Glasto

Very good but not sure about Brandon's shiny new teeth!

I couldn’t name a single Killers song if my life depended on it

I like most of their stuff but tonight even enjoyed their more obscure numbers and the duet with Pet Shop Boys was surreal but excellent.

Tbh the highlight of glasto was the home straight of songs by Liam Gallagher - wonderwall, supersonic and champagne supernova. Three absolutely monumental classics, designed to be played infront of a crowd like glasto.

stormzy can get to fuck

Stormzy was fucking brilliant.

The crowd during Liam's set was hilarious. This massive congregation of men in their late 30s wearing actual irl bucket hats just appeared as if from nowhere. I actually spotted one guy wearing a 1998 England kit with Beckham on the back.

Chemical Brothers were superb and great that they dedicated the set to Keith Flint.

and great that they dedicated the set to Keith Flint.

So did Liam G just before he sang Champange Supernova

The last 4 songs of Liam Gs set are worth a watch.

how anyone can say stormzy was anything but overwhelmingly gash is beyond me.

Never liked Oasis. Possibly the most overrated band ever. I realise this isn’t an earth shattering exclusive. Not surprised Liam is getting pelters in social media.

Stormzy put on a show, but I’m clearly not his target audience and not surprisingly it did nothing for me at all. I doubt this fact will keep him awake at night.

what supes said about the Killers.

Chemical Brothers were awesome.

Lol @ oasis being overrated

your so daring and contrary.

theres a reason about a billion people around the world know the words to their songs.

Killers have some great tunes

Mr Brightside is a (not so) modern classic

they’re as thick as pig shit?

The first two oasis albums are great, but Liam didn’t write any of the songs and why voice he had is now weedblown, he can’t hit any of high notes at all and has to drop an octave, so it’s not great.

The Killers are just dull, it doesn’t surprise me they’re a rof fave. I bought their debut album the same day I bought interpol’s second and after one listen a piece, never bothered with them (killers) after that

Chemical brothers looked brilliant. They were the last act I saw at my last glasto and were awesome then. Ironically enough with tang were my first ever act seen at glasto and they were on last night as well

I do like to watch the odd yoot act though to keep me down with the kids. I’ve so far enjoyed Lizzo and goat girl.

Jnr G (age of 3) was apparently a big fan of stormzy tho. Make of that what you will

>why (what) voice he had is now weedblown, he can’t hit any of high notes at all and has to drop an octave, so it’s not great.

Agreed, Noel's set at the IOW a couple of weeks ago was much better Liam's.

Oasis only had one decent album and just followed the Coldplay option of putting nonsense lyrics to reasonable tunes but the difference is Coldplay have rather more musical talent.

I expected some of Stormzy's lyrics to be more gritty than "my boys don't dab they just do a different viral internet dance sensation".  Slightly disappointed when  I googled what Vossi Bop was.
