I don't really understand streaming/subscriptions. Do you need access to the internet on a continuous basis while you are listening to music, or can you download the music in anticipation of your four-hour train ride across the middle of nowhere?
You buy the music in iTunes. It will appear in Apple Music, I think in a Purchased Music playlist? Plus would also be the only stuff available in there if you cancelled a Music sub.
Think all streaming now does downloads plus you can set it to download particular playlists each time they update so e.g. on an Apple Watch with limited storage you can just have it update and download a dance music playlist for the gym.
Why is Spotify better? Seems more expensive and no real benefit as we all have iphones.
