TBF it's not *all* political. The UK entry did not deserve to come last but we simply don't put the effort into it all that other countries do. Our selection process this year was even more pitiful than usual.
I think it was one of the most boring least memorable songs on the show - I am not in the least surprised it didn't figure on the radar of most juries or nations. The key is to stand out, even bad songs twill pick up points if they are memorable.

It's all political.
I voted Denmark because I liked their song, but it seems that for most people talent has nothing to do with it.
The lad should ignore them.
