But it does make me angry that they're not more vocal in trying to secure the release of one of HM's subjects, yes.
The more I think about it, the more embarrassing it is that MEPs from 27 other countries participated in this vote concerning a British citizen imprisoned in Iran, and the British MEPs who no doubt consider themselves the most patriotic didn't.
Remember the David Pacifico affair. As Palmerston said, a Gibraltarian Jew living in Athens deserves the support of the British government if he's a subject of the Crown.
