Can anyone say what they're like to work for?
I'm thinking of applying but it's a drop in salary, so I'm wondering if the work/life balance and having the rare opportunity as a property solicitor to "do good" makes it worth it.

Only bloke I know who worked for them was nicknamed kippers at school because he didn’t bathe regularly and always smelt rather.. fishy.
Thats the extent of my knowledge on the matter, I hope it assists you with your decision. I believe he still works for them. Bit of a lifer. Possibly grew out of the not washing thing.

We also had a kid nicknamed wormy - he was discovered to have worms once, aged 11. Not a good thing to have at boarding school. I don’t know if he went to work at the environment agency. He may have.
