Dogwarden - Hate Speech

Hey Doggers, you posted something the other day along the lines of "I believe in freedom speech, but there has to be limits". Leaving aside the fact that you clearly dont believe in free speech, i asked you to address the question of who defines hate speech, and what that definition would include. You never responded. But for the purposes of raising awareness, and also demonstrating what is happening to a number of innocent people, let me show you a few examples of what is currently happening in this country:

Black Christian Preacher arrested for Islamaphobia:

And another arrested for Homphobia

Womens rights group accused of transphobia for citing the dictionary definition of "Woman"

Because they're worried about things like this

So, in summary, the christian bible is both islamaphobic and homophobic, and the dictionary is transphobic. Beginning to see any problems?

The bible is full of lots of things that are no long considered acceptable as are many ancient texts and there are some genuinely hateful christian groups and preachers around and I have no problem with some of them being locked up.

Reckon we can arrest the Pope next time he's here?

"So, in summary, the christian bible is both islamaphobic and homophobic, and the dictionary is transphobic. Beginning to see any problems?"

Not really, it's a view expressed in a book held by some to relate to their religion... ...it was of course written long before the concept of expressing your view automatically meant you had zero empathy towards those who held a different view.

To be fair to the Romans they were consistent... ...the view they expressed did correlate with their actions.

I'm not sure your reasoning applies to the dictionary, fluffers.
