I love Antiques Roadshow. Watching last night’s now.
The knowledge of the experts is wonderful to see rolled out. The bizarre items that surface and frequently the provenance stories that accompany fabulous finds illuminate the items. Fiona Bruce? Cherry on the cake.
I also have a fair degree of expertise in a realm that surfaces from time to time.
Ironically I can recall going to my grandparents in the late 60s having to sit through and endure Going for a Song. I hated that part of Sunday afternoons. Would be interesting to see what I make of it now.

Do you have a favourite regular Television programme or series?
I watched a bit of this. There was an expert on jelly moulds.
Blakes 7 ended a while back.
I used to regularly watch the first ten minutes of the adult channels on sky before they scrambled the picture.
The Antiques Roadshow theme tune always gives me butterflies. Serious Sunday-itis.
Not in a good way.
Taskmaster for the win.
There are a number of things that I’ll always watch if there’s a series on. Currently enjoying the fact we’ve been getting two series back to back of Chicago PD and Chicago Fire.
Exactly Sieto.
Where else are you going to see so many 5 minute slots of wonderful eccentricity. The expert knew the primary manufacturers. He described the likely contents, the multi coloured layered versions that would be created in a tiered version.
Rhialto I had dinner with Jaqueline Pearce on a couple of occasions. No afters.
takeshi’s castle
Everybody Loves Raymond.
They really don’t. He’s a c unt
Gogglebox
Abbott Elementary (and before that, Superstore)
I recently found a slightly obscure reality tv show about a bunch of landed gentry types and am now addicted
I enjoy seeing their laziness (which is matched only by their pomposity), their relentless focus on breeding and how they consistently struggle to raise the cash needed to run their unnecessarily vast estates
It’s on Channel 5 and is called Only Tools and Horses

It's brilliance never fades with repeat watching
Not a regular as in long running like Antiques Roadshow (although I do enjoy that when I catch it on).
Maybe Family Guy, there is always at least one laugh out loud moment in every show.
I am one of the people who watches Friends as comfort telly.
Veering into box set territory, I think the greatest comedy every broadcast is Arrested Development, and rewatch the first three series of those periodically
Also, Traiters actually.
I like Gone Fishing, Gardener's World and Landward. I can enjoy a thriller or some Nordic noir, but the only consistent shows I have watched over multiple years turn out to be gentle TV with lovely scenery. Life is stressful enough.
Oh yeah Gone Fishing is a good one
Came here to say fish one
