"The basic reality of this position is that, in an election, Labour would run on a Soft Brexit platform, with a referendum tacked on, in which they'd either campaign to Leave or fight against their own deal."
That's the nail in the coffin for hardcore Labour leavers. It's probably a sensible strategy. A lot of northern Labour voters will still begrudgingly support them, and it will get some of the Liberals back on board.
I reckon a goodly majority of "traditional", northern Labour voters don't read the news or follow current events, etc, and will continue to vote Labour regardless, so, yep, fine, crack on.
Especially in Liverpool, where they're far too busy committing benefit fraud to watch the news.
Corbyn’s a busted flush. He pretty much guarantees a hung parliament with lib dem newbies holding the balance of power.
Hoey has said she’s stepping down, no? A rare smart move for our Kate since she will almost certainly get ditched by her very Remain constituency association anyway.

Apart from seamus milne, obviously.
But fortunately he has no influence at all.

I don’t think many people outside the leadership inner circle would give a toss if Milne fvcked the fvck off, m888

I'd class myself as one. I'm a Labour Leave donor, I've voted Labour in the past, and I'm sure as heck a hardcore Brexiteer.

I think that a lot of people outside the inner circle would be delighted if he did fvck off.
Unfortunately he is currently the most inner of the inner circle.

Yes, but (hard brexiter though he may be) he’s clearly been involved in formulating this latest announcement, which will please most of the base.

And you can see his sticky fingers all over it with the ifs and buts and escape hatches.

Oh no RoF's resident Witchfinder General has outed him as a Leaver! *gasp*

Surely to ‘out’ someone you need to say something true about them that isn’t well known?
You are such a simpleton dux.
Tell you what, shall I ‘out’ Elton John as being a bit gay next?

If it will keep you away from the subject of your beloved EU, be my guest.

I never said that it was brilliant. Just better than any of the alternatives on offer.

Just confirms what we all already knew: Corbyn is an utter little auntweasel who will literally say or do anything to get in power.
