I have a 10 year old working cocker spaniel called Misty.  She is a lovely dog.  I also own her daughter, Tilly, who has never been away from her Mum for more than an hour in her whole 4 year life.

Misty had a lump removed from her mammary gland about 2 months ago, I didn't have it biopsied because the vet said it would make no difference to treatment... well... it's back and looking nasty.

I have a vet appointment this afternoon but am pretty sure it's cancerous...in which case, I'll be without Misty
