Python covered in ticks in swimming pool

500 ticks. Huge swollen ticks.

Gah. Nightmare stuff.

Checks under desk.

Climbs on chair.

Tenses arse so much he actually swallows himself from the anus.

"Its whole face was swollen and blooming and it was completely overwhelmed by the ticks breeding on him."

He said removing the tick-laden snake had felt like "holding a bag of marbles that were moving under my hands".

Eeeek.

Feel sorry for the python.

Haven't got the stones to open and read the article.

Blech.

that makes me feel ill, but the ticks rather than the python.

Poor animal.  He is now recovering, you jessies will no doubt be pleased to hear.

SHOULD NOT HAVE CLICKED ON THAT LINK.

another good reason never to travel east of suez.

poor little thing

more importantly, MUTTERS POSTED A LINK AND A PICTURE SUCCESSFULLY

well done grandad

?? I have not had any issues with links and pictures* since the upgrade thanks, cockchops.  This is a RoF drive-by shooting of the most unwarranted sort.

I was not able to do pics on old RoF as it was beyond me. But links with the a a/ in square brackets was no problem.

(*save for the odd random miniature pic that it confects now and then)

Gets a heh from me.

Did you click on my link?  It has all the moods.

No I did not. I was about to and then I read Clubbers' post and it was a no from me, Clive.

He was talking about your story m7.  Mine is a PG animated cartoon.

Seriously.

You'll like it.

Although it may make you get a little dust in your eye.

I had to get rid of a tick on my dog years ago.  fckng horrible things.  had to rub voddie on the tick's arse

I do like that vid.

My dog gets a lot of ticks in the April - June period. I use a Seresta collar but still she picks up one a day. We use a little green twister tool.

Did it shrivel up and die or just get pissed and let go?

The latter.  then it got properly stamped on and i was in trouble for getting claret all over the carpet

Vodka through the bumhole?

Hmmmm.

Bet that smarts a bit.

There are deer in the park next to our house.  The Nexette has had ticks.  Mr Nex has had ticks.  Shudder.

Grandpa Youngblood lived in the hills and would frequently find goannas eating his strawberries.  He'd move them some distance from his strawberry patch.

But before he did so, he'd bring them inside and spend as long as was needed de-ticking them.

He was a genuine legend.
