I've been commuting up and down to Waterloo on and off for longer than I care to remember.  The station has changed slightly over the years but not much.  Until that is about 4 weeks ago when pigeons (the rancid London ratlike ones) have decided to start invading train carriages.  wtaf is that about.  I've seen 5 do it this week.

I think we should commission merks to conduct an investigation.  or to give every conductor a falcon.

They have developed a new taste for human flesh and although you are safe amongst other commuters never let yourself fall asleep alone on a late train home if you want to get home with both cheeks intact.

end of days M8

maybe they all lived in the old Eurostar platforms which having now been reopened have renedered then confused and homeless? Or maybe they also live in the sticks.

boring answer: station has got bigger over the years so is probably colder than it was, and now it is cold the pigeons are going for the warmth of train carriages?

I really like the idea of giving the train supervisors falcons though.
