Is anyone else mixed handed

or is I a weirdo?

I write left handed, but play golf and cricket right handed. Weirdly i play tennis left handed but if i was throwing something i would choose to throw it right handed.

no, right handed. but during my time in London I went boxing and devoted a LOT of time to my left straight/jab, which is why I somehow feel almost more comfortable punching with my left hand

You are proper weird.  I played cricket and hockey right handed, tennis/squash left handed.  So far so good.  But preferring to throw with a different hand to that you write with?  You fooking deviant.  Burn the witch! 

Me. It's called being cross dominant. I write and eat with my left but throw/golf/tennis/bat with my right.

If it requires dexterity then it's left, strength then right.

I'm with Wellerz and Supes.  Definitely what Supes said about dexterity and strength and as a result I can't use and spoon and fork at the same time as I use both with my left hand.

I am cross dominant too. 

I write and draw with my right hand but can only use a mouse with my left hand.  I deal cards with my left hand and can't deal with my right.   

Hadn’t thought about the strength vs dexterity thing. Makes sense, although doesn’t explain my left handed tennis, although of all the sports it is the one I’m most ambidextrous with

Eat, write, throw with left. Cricket, baseball and golf right handed. 

Don't play tennis but would naturally pick racket up with left hand for some reason.  

Once tried learning guitar. Nearly tore every tendon in both arms. 

I am. I play tennis and squash right handed, but if I throw darts, a cricket ball or a football (American variety) its always left handed. Or left-footed if I'm kicking anything.

And I write right handed. I had a test one time and they said I was mainly left-sided.

But my primary school teachers kept smacking me over the fingers for picking up a pencil with with my left hand. Wrong apparently.

I'm amidextrous basically.

 

I write with my right hand, but apparently tie my tie up left handed. I didn't actually realise you could tell which hands a tie had been tied. Well someone told me I had tied a tie left handed from a photo. I also swap my knife and fork over when I eat. 

DDKing being right handed and spending a lot of time on your left jab is utterly normal. It's literally what every right handed boxer does. If you were right handed and spent a lot of time on a right jab (as opposed to a cross) that would be more interesting.

I do have a weird mate who is right handed but bats left handed in cricket.

For myself I am right handed, but left footed (yet for some reason still ride a snowboard regular).

That would mean your equally good with both hands, if you do some things with one hand and other things with another, you're mixed handed.

 

Same here. Write and eat left handed but play all sports right handed. Cannot do any of these things the other way round so not ambidextrous.

Would play the guitar left handed if I actually played.

Very left footed but don't think that is relevant.

Of course the key question (as Buzz said) is which hand do you pleasure yourself with (left)

I dont understand the "eat left handed" thing - do you mean you hold your cutlery the wrong way round?

I lost about 80% of the strength in my left arm in an accident years ago.  it's back up now after years of physio but still sub par compared to righty, which for the reasons buzz outlines looks like popeye's
