Another dilemma

I'm having one of those days, sorry!

I arranged to meet a friend to watch the rugby and I booked a table at a pub. He has just said he doesn't like the pub so will watch it at another pub instead.  I'm really cross that he didn't say this when we made arrangements.  I don't know whether to go to the pub I booked by myself, go to the one he's going to, or just stay at home.

What would Rof do?

Did he say *he* is going to watch it somewhere else, or did he say don't like that pub let's go to x together

cos if it's the first you're NFI anyway by the sounds of it

Should I have a beer?

Watching at home, and need to go to to someone else's house for a dinner party thing at 6. There's a danger I could end up tanked. Which would be problematic.

Stir, much as I love you, think you’ve over planned it a bit by booking a table. Shoulda just rocked up. That’s what pubs are for. Now he probably thinks you want to marry him or something

The prawns are still in the fridge.  I think it's definitely too late for them.

I went to the pub with my mate, watched England fluke a win in a hurricane, got drinking with the People's Front of Judea version of crossfit who made me drink a shot, then I got home and went to the nice Italian restaurant downstairs by myself and read my book and had pasta and wine. A good day.
