Lawyers too dull to be on TV
In a bizarre press release, the world's most embarrassing media channel, Legal TV, has admitted that fictional lawyers have more interesting jobs than real ones.
In summary, Legal TV admits its strategy of revealing the glamourous real-life world of the lawyer has failed miserably. The release states that the channel's "Love Lawyers" campaign has run into, ahem, difficulties and that its latest show, "Lawyers Save the World" is simply too dull to broadcast. Apparently Lawyers Save the World involves hand-picked lawyers solving a crisis by acting "decisively and effectively". Which sounds pretty unlikely for a start.
The first show saw London being flooded. However, Legal TV were disappointed to find that "the lawyers were not able to rise to the occasion and save London... some of them were listless and not bothered that London was drowning".
Senior Producer Grant Young added that they "did not seem to appreciate the urgency of the situation". Err, possibly because it wasn't real...

The channel has now been forced to admit that attempting to fill hours with shows such as "The Practice. A fly on the wall inside several law firms" is never going to grab the same ratings as Ally McBeal, and that a change of strategy will be needed.
Although Legal TV may now focus on "fictional legal entertainment shows",
you can still see clips of "Lawyers Save the World"
