You should then apply directly to any firms which interest you. Law students should make their applications in the penultimate year of their degree, but if you're studying another subject you can leave it until your final year. Most firms have a deadline for applications in June or July but many have earlier deadlines, especially for non-law students. Make sure you check out their website so you don't get caught out.
