RollOnFriday can exclusively reveal that Deirdre Dare, the legal profession's favourite smutty novelist and dodgy poet, is suing Allen & Overy for £3.5million.

Dare was a senior associate at A&O's Moscow office until the firm took exception to her posting a dirty novel, bad poetry and pictures of her wearing not very much on the web. Readers with strong stomachs can check it out here.

A&O fired Dare after she refused to take the site down. Despite bagging both her fifteen minutes of fame and a column on the Moscow News as a result, Dare announced that she would go after A&O. And indeed she has: this week she filed an employment tribunal claim for £3.5million against the firm. Which at least has got her some more publicity...

A spokesman for A&O said "we are aware of Ms Dare's employment tribunal claim. We are entirely satisfied that the termination of her employment was justified and lawful and will defend Ms Dare's claim vigorously".

As always, the final word goes to Ms Dare herself in her inspired poem "Inventory".

Three things I am feeling right now:
Drunk, alone and fat as a cow.

Three things that I wish I could be:
Twenty-five, dumb and quite happy.

One thing that strikes me at once:
How much thinking
I do with my ladygarden*
