Addleshaw Goddard tells trainees to sleep together

Addleshaw Goddard
trainees thought their annual conference had taken a strange turn when they were asked to share hotel rooms. However that was nothing when it turned out the firm had arranged for them to share beds.
The trainee conference took place in London last weekend. To enable trainees from Leeds & Manchester to make a full recovery from the "
Caribbean themed karaoke
", they were booked into hotels overnight. However, to save money the firm told the trainees to share rooms, and the travel company rather thoughtfully booked doubles rather than twins.
One trainee wishes she'd stayed at home
The mistake was discovered too late for alternative accommodation to be found, so the firm filled its trainees with booze and let them go to bed together. No problem there. It should just have gone the whole hog and told everyone to bring their car keys with them.
A spokeswoman for the firm said, "
There was an administrative error by the travel firm organising overnight accomodation for our trainee conference which resulted in double, rather than twin rooms being booked. We sorted the problem out, and all those requiring overnight accomodation were given the option to have a room on their own, or to share. Our trainee conference is an occasion for individuals to get to know each other, but booking our people into double rooms is definitely a step too far!"
