A
Freshfields
' associate is vying for his place on the best-seller list with his first novel "Who is Mr Satoshi?".
Jonathan Lee, a 3PQE associate at the Magic Circle firm, told RollOnFriday that he wrote the book partly in his free time and partly by taking six months' unpaid leave. So the credit crunch was good for something at least.
The plot revolves around a middle-aged photographer who finds a mysterious package addressed to Mr Satoshi amongst his recently deceased mother's belongings. He sets off to find Mr Satoshi and, well, that would be telling.
Who indeed.
The book is published at the beginning of July but excited RollOnFriday readers can pre-order a copy
here
. And Jonathan has a free copy of the book (once it's published) and an hour of his time to anyone who wants advice on how to write a book and be a City lawyer at the same time. Send RoF an
email
to be entered into the draw.
