Watson Burton manages to outsource nearly all its qualifying trainees

Watson Burton has confirmed that it is only keeping on one or two of its eight qualifying trainees, sinking to nearly the bottom of RollOnFriday's trainee retention table.

The firm may have a shameful retention rate, but at least it got off its arse and tried to help its trainees. Chris Graham, trainee partner at the firm, said that all but one of the NQs had been offered jobs elsewhere. One is joining a client of the firm, another is going to a local accountant.
