Winckworth Sherwood

The client stresses that he has no connections to the adult entertainment industry, and was entirely stumped as to what box may have been ticked when signing up for updates to suggest an interest in lap dancing-related law. Could it be that the alert was intended for legal lap dancing connoisseur, and member of the Association of Lap Dancing Club Operators, Jeffrey Green Russell partner Julian Skeens?

In any event, it seems unlikely that this client will be taking up Winckworth Sherwood's generous offer to "clarify any points raised in the article".

  Another lap dancing alert yesterday

Winckworth Sherwood partner Robert Botkai explained patiently: "Your reader will have ticked to receive updates on Licensing issues. I send out regular Briefings and News Items relevant to my practice areas being property and licensing".

"They actually get read if I include lap dancing in the heading" he added thoughtfully.
