Hogan Lovells hires four new partners in Australia
01 April 2016
Hogan Lovells has announced that it has appointed four new partners in Australia to join husband and wife team, Tim and Nicky Lester.
The Lesters were hired to
launch the firm in Australia in July last year. Up until now, the couple have been the only HogLove partners based in Australia. Nicky works in Sydney and husband Tim is in the Perth office some 2,000 miles away. The pair move between the two cities for business needs, and presumably meeting up for date night too.
Asia Pacific and Middle East Managing Partner Patrick Sherrington said that the firm deliberately took its time choosing new partners to join the Lesters since it is "
a long term investment that demands considered and not hurried decisions". Which is sensible planning advice to all husband and wife partner teams considering whether or not to grow the size of their brood.

That's one for the mantelpiece, and also the firm's website.

The four new partners are Scott Harris from DLA Piper, Richard Hayes from King & Wood Mallesons, Andrew Crook from Gilbert & Tobin and Ros O'Mally also from Gilbert & Tobin. Tim Lester said the hires "
are ambitious and collaborative ...
like all of our partners".
