It took him nine months months to walk from shining sea to shining sea. But finally Tyler Coulson has finished his 5,000 mile walk across the USA and has now written up the whole experience. And you can win a copy of the book, signed by the great man himself.
Tyler strutted out of his BigLaw job in March 2011, waving adieu to his colleagues with an understated
farewell email
, including the line "
Beginning next week, I am walking from Delaware to California with a tent and my dog, Mabel. I will have limited access to email
".
Mabel looking a bit bored with the thought of more walkies.
Coulson left Delaware on March 11th and finished up in San Diego on the 8th November. En route he fell over, had to be
rescued by Mabel from an angry bear
, suffered appalling weather and generally collected enough anecdotes to fill thousands of pages which he's condensed into a book entitled "
By Men Or By The Earth
". And RollOnFriday has a copy to give away to the reader who comes up with the best answer to the following question.
Complete this phrase: "I would walk 5,000 miles just to...." and send your answer to the
usual place
.
If you don't win, you can buy a copy
here
