A Middlesex law firm is demonstrating its professional experience by depicting its lawyers as cartoon animals.

C L Law Solicitors's website is largely straightforward and based on state of the art 1980s internet technology. Although it has a refreshing aversion to question marks, giving the impression that if its potential clients don't want one service, they must require the other.

But C L Law jumps off the deep end when it comes to its staff, arranging sober biographies alongside cartoons which could charitably be described as retro and accurately described as shit. Did a vengeful ex-employee hack in. Or did C L Law contract the work to Russia's equivalent of Cbeebies. Either way, the Senor [sic] Partner is a laughing crow.

Lal's partner, Farrah Jane Legarta, is a penguin. Look how happy Farrah is. Farrah is a happy penguin.

Meanhile, the firm's trainee is...a rabbit stuck in a tree? She's under the direct supervision of the senior partner, although attentive readers will spot that he's not helping her, he's laughing, the nasty crow.

Conveyancing executive Hiranthi Senarath is a bear with a barrel of honey.

And Naresh the paralegal is a pirate.

Sharandeep does nothing.

And the practice manager is a fire-breathing dragon.

RollOnFriday offers its congratulatons, and the use of its collection of early 1990s clipart, to C L Law.

is the moral of the story "better stuck in a tree than in the senior partner"??

And "based on state of the art 1980s internet technology" - pot, kettle ROF?

Sadly, they seem to have taken down the page with the animals on now. Happily, their very simple website means its easy to find the page with a direct URL - all their pages are preview_00x.htm and as the available pages goe straight from x = 3 to x = 5, the relevant page must be x =4 or...

Is a "Para Legal" the same as a paralegal? Or is it a subtle hint at Naresh's superpowers enable him to carry out Legal, Accountancy, Used Car Sales and "Helping Old Ladies to cross roads", Saving the World and Defeating Evil services?
