Australia graduates could soon be packing their umbrellas, cagoules and emergency supplies of Tim Tams for a four month secondment in London.
Keen to emphasise the importance of Australia in its ever expanding network, Norton Rose wants to show its most junior staff the benefits of the merger-happy firm's rapacious expansion. Starting in October, lucky trainees will be able to spend four months working in the firm's London, or one of its Asian, offices. According to a spokeswoman for the firm "
This will further strengthen our knowledge, skill base and cultural alignment across the international business
”.
Tempting
The firm added capacity in Oz in 2010, and both Canada and South Africa just over a year ago. And what with rumours in the market suggesting that the next move is to the USA, who would bet against seats in New York soon being offered?
