When news like this happens it's always worth channel hopping. Morgan does a much better job of interviews than the BBC Breakfast lot imo. He asks difficult questions and he demands answers. Having said that, I've heard some good things about Charlie Staite on the beeb but i haven't seen any of his interviews.

Essentially he exposed the inadequacy of the tories response to Grenfell and challenged the emptiness and deflections in Gove's answers until Gove had nothing left but vacuity. Gove then accused Morgan of grandstanding and Morgan responded with a list of failures in the tower itself and in the subsequent responses from both local council and central government and said that it had been however many days etc etc etc and Gove just got paler and paler until I thought he might be sick.

Gove came across as a weasel of a man. Another leadership bid dashed on the rocks of Grenfell Tower.

It's all very well for Morgan to get all demagogy in his interviews but he is a terrible khunt who can't take it when it's dished back to him

He's being interviewed on the beeb now. Being given a very easy ride. Still looks like an evasive liar but not being challenged in any meaningful way. I've never been a fan of Louise Minchin for these sort of interviews though. It's all very pedestrian and no follow up questions - she just gives the politicians an opportunity to spout the party line and then leaves it.

Isn't beebs in the morning all about giving a cheery chat so that people can have their breakfast?

I don't give a tug. He's not an elected representative. His failings as editor of The Mirror are well documented. This idea that all things are equivalent is nonsense and should be discouraged. Morgan is not responsible for public policy. Gove, May and the government are. Corbyn, Abbot and the Labour Party want to be. Let's remember that.
