Sadly the people frothing away on the Internet in block capitals tend not to be doing any of those things.

Maybe switch to lower case?

BLOCK CAPITALS ARE THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN CUT THROUGH THE FAKE NEWS OF THE DAILY HEIL ETC.

THE WAVES OF ALTERNATIVE FACTS AND FAKE NEWS HAVE BRAINWASHED THE IGNORANT WORKING CLASSES OF THE NORTH. IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT, THEY WERE NOT AWARE THEY WERE BEING MANIPULATED BY THE LIKES OF GOVE, FARAGE AND BORIS.

WELL NO LONGER, REMAINERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY ARE UNITING AGAINST THE RACIST HATE OF THE BREXTARDS AND PLANNING TO END THIS BREXIT MADNESS.

The people typing in block capitals all voted to leave so it doesn't really work as a satire for me Clive.

If you wanted to sound a bit more guardian you could try calling may a fascist sympathiser and trump worse than hitler.

Fresh from the Graun comments section - something a bit like this?

'What a dumbass... she sees no point in being involved in the future of our nearest neighbours and trading partners, but goes running off to suck ass with the dumbest president of the USA who will rip the uk off in any trade deal. She lives in her own cuckoo-could land.'

TDB, you need to witness more of the anti-Brexit protests in London if you think they aren't as shrill.

THERE IS NOTHING SHRILL ABOUT BEING ANTI BREXIT

I ATTENDED A RECENT PLANNING MEETING FOR A PROTEST IN A DELIGHTFUL GASTRO PUB IN PARSONS GREEN. GOOD TO SEE AT LEAST THE WELL EDUCATED CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY ARE AWARE OF THE TERRIBLE HUMAN COST OF BREXIT.

IN THE END WE LEFT BEFORE THE PROTEST WAS PLANNED BECAUSE THE AU PAIR WAS HAVING THE NIGHT OFF. BUT OUR THOUGHTS AND HEARTS WERE WITH THE BRAVE SOULS STANDING UP FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE IN THE COUNTRY

The joke is good, but the caps lock isn't a remainer thing.

Could you try it in italics?[/I]

You are right of course. Capitals are far too aggressive and, in many ways are reminicent of the negative hateful campaign of the far right which led to the terrible decision to leave the EU.

What fosco said. People who bang away in block caps don't go to gastropubs or have au pairs. They go to flat roof pubs and have fights.

Just a suggestion of course. Also BREXIT! Doesn't say 'I'M OFF TO PICK UP MY MOBILITY SCOOTER AND POP INTO REIGATE!'. It's a bit more subtle.

Any ways, as you were

Not sure why you'd pick two small middle-class towns in Surrey/Sussex as typical of Brexitism though, rather than say Boston or Grimsby.

Heh.

BREXIT!! vs. REMAIN!! (a bit like Superman vs Batman)

In an effort to battle the highly effective and subversive words of RoF's god-like satirical commentator, the formidable, forceful vigilante (and, some might say, modern-day savior) REMAIN!!, takes on BREXIT!!, while the rest of us wrestle with what sort of hero we really need.

And with BREXIT!! and REMAIN!! at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before...

Um, Swing, BREXIT has been posting for almost half a year now. Somehow it takes a Johnny-come-lately derivative plagiarist to make you wish you had thought of this?
