Old secretary of mine with him in Grays and he was an utter cúnt apparently and universally hated by most of his peers.

Chap dun alright for himself tho, and given his background, one can't really blame him for being a little wayward in his youth. I was an utter cúnt at that age too. Unfortunately, I ended up with neither the personality, talent nor wealth.

I am better looking than him though, so that evens things out.

I don't know enough about snooker but here's a few thoughts

The 5 min 147 break was simply incredible - just as good then as it is now - a wonder to behold for anyone who likes sport generally

I think he's toned it down a bit now but he did get genuinely competitive playing both left and right handed. At least one pro retired from the sport on the spot in the post match press conference crying over being mocked by Sullivan cleaning up frame after frame with his weak handed side. Maybe the Hearns told him to tone it down or they'd show up at his practice with the boys and beat him with cues left handed.

After all this bravado he went on to currently have 5 world titles and is still going.

I hope he keeps the fire and goes on to smash Hendry's record - he deserves it. He doesn't talk much about his dad but that was a dreadful situation for any kid.

You don't know what the Hearns are like mate - really really nasty

I think all RO got from his dad was his genes whereas the Hearns keep it all in the family like they're the Krays or something

Barry Hearn said recently that athough O'Sullivan can be a bit of **** sometimes, he was 'box-office', which is probably all Hearn cares about.

Okay i'lol give you a bit of a Hearn story - the chip off the old block

Do you know who Jodie Marsh is? Well she became a minor celeb for a little while and one of the things she used was making waves about the bullying she endured at school. She actually only really got bullied by one person and you can guess who that was...
