Just to be clear, because your post wasn't - I'm looking cheap, genuine nespresso pods.

I just buy the Taylor ones from Amazon. If you buy 60 at a time they are reasonably cheap, taste fine and unlike some of the other 3rd party pods actually work well with the machine.

okay, can we rewind this. I appreciate the rof response to any question is to answer a slightly different question. It's why clients really appreciate the off-point advice they get constantly from lawyers...

All I wanted was info on where I might get a slightly better deal for genuine nespresso pods. that's it. Nothing else is required. If you don't know, please don't waste valuable finger energy typing.

a useful precedent for a response is:[I]

I buy genuine nespresso pods from [INSERT NAME OF RETAILER/WEBSITE] in pack of [INSERT NUMBER OF UNITS] at a unit cost of [INSERT UNIT COST].

I work from 3 offices. One has genuine nespresso flying saucers (free), one is my home (better coffee, self-financed) the other is a serviced office where there is a pod machine but no pods.

hah. No, I'm not actually cranky. I am attempting humour by

(a) pointing out the lawyer's normal reaction to a query isn't "sorry, don't know" but to explain why the client asked the wrong question before re-casting the question as something they do know about; and

(b) drafting a precedent.

I am willing to bet that any coffee forum has much stronger and more nastily-expressed views on nespresso pods...

50 genuine pods for £29. Isn't that about twice the price of the Nespresso shop?

well there you go, it seems you're right. 50 pods from nespresso for £18.50. I will be passing one of their boutiques next week. Job dun. thanks.
