He has bulked up a lot since then.

Conrad smith must be wondering what the fvck all the fuss about the 6Ns. These two games have been fvcking dire

So frustrating watching France, you want to see a bit of that famous panache but they give away so many penalties that they just never seem to get going. It'll be another arm wrestle by the look of it.

i purr at the thought of the 80s france, berbizier, mesnel, camberebero, sella, chavet, blanco, bonnevalle, when backs were backs and forwards knew their place

I like the 70s and 80s footage, not just for the rugby but also the way the picture and sound quality was so poor that (even though they were only broadcasting from over the channel) they may as well have been broadcasting from the moon. Made it all seem tres exotique.

Very tense, but that's a study in why union will.never be a truly mainstream spectator sport. Far too much emphasis on rules and interpretation: scrum collapses, head injuries, injuries, replacements, video replays etc.

What the fvck was Barnes doing there?

FOUR scrum penalties under the posts but no penalty try?

18 minutes of constant penalties including obviously deliberate "not 10" and offside, but no yellow card after Francis?

And ridiculous to get Slimani back on.

Wales should have said Francis was injured and had non contested scrums.

Slimani came on because the other prop was injured. He tried to play on at the first scrum - if it had been a deliberate ruse he wouldn't have done that.
