Hardworking associates at DLA Piper's UK offices are only getting half the bonuses they expected.
Andrew Darwin, the firm's UK Managing Partner, emailed staff yesterday to say that the UK side of the firm had failed to hit its targets. So lawyers who'd put in long enough hours to qualify for bonuses would only receive 50% of what they'd have pocketed if the firm had performed a bit better. Nice.
