A former Clayton Utz lawyer is suing a number of her former colleagues for defamation. According to an insider at the firm, the plaintiff is Bridgette Styles (now an associate at Johnson Winter Slattery's Sydney office). Apparently the first-named defendant is one Luis Izzo, recently promoted to senior associate, who now has the dubious privilege of appearing in the daily lists every time the matter is called over for directions or argument. Neither Clayton Utz nor Styles would comment.
